workforce.ai

Terms.

The rules for using workforce.ai. Use the data to make better decisions. Don't use it to hurt people.

Effective September 28, 2026.

The agreement

These terms cover workforce.ai: the site, the app, The Headcount, and our API, MCP server, and CLI. Using any of them means you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you use workforce.ai for an organization, you are accepting for it and confirm you can.

workforce.ai is run by ChatJSH LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Workforce.ai.

Accounts and keys

Accounts need a work email. One person per account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your API keys. Keep keys secret. If one leaks, tell us and we will rotate it.

Do not open extra accounts to get around limits. Free limits are shared across an organization's accounts.

Free use, limits, and paid plans

Some use is free, up to limits we set and may change. Beyond them you need a paid plan or credits.

Prices are shown when you buy or in your order. Fees are due in advance and are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise or we agree in writing. Credits expire as stated when you buy them. Prices exclude taxes.

The data.

What you can do with it

You may use answers, charts, data files, and records for your own business purposes. You may publish charts and findings from workforce.ai. Credit them as Source: workforce.ai and keep our watermark and link on charts you repost.

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute our data as a dataset, or use it to build a competing data product, without a written agreement with us.

Person-level records

Records about individuals are for recruiting, sales and marketing outreach, research, and investment analysis. You must follow the laws that apply to how you contact people, including anti-spam, telemarketing, and privacy laws, and honor opt-outs we pass on to you.

workforce.ai is not a consumer reporting agency. Do not use our data, in whole or in part, to decide anyone's eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing, or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws. Sourcing candidates is fine. Screening them out on our data is not.

Never use our data to harass, stalk, discriminate against, or surveil anyone.

How to read it

Our panel is a sample of about 120 million careers. It is not a census, and no one has one. Recent months fill in as profiles are re-checked, which is why recent figures carry adjustments and ranges.

Answers are written by AI models working over that data. They can be wrong. Check anything that matters before relying on it. Nothing on workforce.ai is investment, legal, or employment advice.

Using the service.

Agents welcome

Automated access is welcome through the API, MCP server, and CLI with your key. Do not scrape the website or app, get around caps or keys, overload the service, probe it for weaknesses, or reverse engineer it.

Your content

What you bring to workforce.ai, such as questions and files, stays yours. You let us process it to run the service for you. We may use usage patterns, stripped of anything that identifies you, to improve the service.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

Ours

The service, its software, our methods and semantic layer, the design, and the workforce.ai name and marks belong to us. These terms give you the rights to use them described here, and nothing more.

Ending it

You can stop using workforce.ai and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or that put the service or other people at risk. The parts of these terms that should outlast an account, such as data restrictions, disclaimers, and limits on liability, do.

The fine print.

Disclaimers

workforce.ai is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used workforce.ai or its data in breach of these terms or the law, you will cover our reasonable costs of defending it and any resulting losses.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Material changes are sent to account holders by email before they take effect. Using workforce.ai after that means you accept them.

Law

Delaware law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Delaware. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, plus any order or written agreement with us, are the whole agreement.
